Koç Company began its journey in the mid-nineties from a small office located in the Zakho Commercial Complex, known as AZAD Office. Initially, its primary focus was on the local sale and distribution of steel. Over time, the company evolved into an entity engaged in both importing and exporting.

It continued to operate primarily as a business office until the year 2000. Subsequently, the company underwent a transformation, rebranding itself as Koç Company with the aim of expanding its reach and diversifying its areas of operation.

Koç wire mesh factory

The Koç Wire Mesh Factory, located in the Kwashe Industrial Area within the Duhok province, has been established over a 12,500 m2 area. It adheres to the highest international standards and utilizes state-of-the-art machinery to manufacture BRC products. This facility boasts an impressive production capacity, making it the largest of its kind in the Kurdistan Region.

In addition to its various activities, the company is also involved in the construction of the Koç Center located in the heart of Duhok province. This impressive building includes over 250 business offices and 10 commercial apartments, all designed with the finest and most modern architectural plans.
